Seven leading developers, including Emaar, Damac, and Sobha Realty, have agreements in place with Dubai’s Land Department (DLD) to manage real estate transactions through the use of DLD’s sophisticated registration systems. Danube, Azizi Developments, Binghatti Properties, and Aldar Properties have joined these prominent players.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, DLD stated that the initiative’s goals are to improve service quality, expedite processes by shortening transaction times, and promote closer cooperation with the business sector.
DLD said in the release, “These companies will leverage DLD’s state-of-the-art registration systems to deliver efficient and high-quality services to our clients.”
“This partnership is designed to boost market confidence, offer better protection for investor rights, and simplify procedures through transparent governance standards,” stressed Majid Al Marri, CEO of DLD’s Real Estate Registration Sector.
Al Marri went on, saying, “We want to improve our relationships with the private sector and our integration with government services.” This strategy will guarantee the sector’s sustainability and preparedness for the future, promote proactive real estate services, and raise awareness and transparency.
Implications of the Agreement
Developers may use DLD’s systems to record and audit any real estate transactions on behalf of investors and developers under the terms of this agreement. It is anticipated that this step will increase capacity and shorten registration periods from days to minutes, increasing investor and customer satisfaction.
Furthermore, by assisting developers in meeting the rising demand for real estate and drawing in additional capital, the agreement promotes economic growth. DLD also intends to bolster its supervision and command over the real estate sector.
